Ole’, oh sorry wrong language. lol.

Greeting and salutations all my friends at PPC. Wishing you were all here to savor the sights, sounds and deep fellowship. It is incredible! I love being a part of global church, it is such a blessing from the Lord. I feel like I am with the African counterpart of the college and career group. Tons of jokes and big laughs. They have truly welcomed us into their ministry, into their lives with open arms. Yesterday we took a picnic at an arboretum. There were plants and trees there that I’ve only seen in photos and monkeys that came up to us for food, like squirrels. We played group games, had relay races and explored overgrown trails. Pastor Dan gave a talk on the importance of memorizing scripture. It was a time of reflection and challenge. I love the group here.

My health surveys are coming along. I am having good conversations with people about the health in their community, AIDS in Africa and how we at PPC can help.

We have been memorizing Ps 138:8 “The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hand.”

God will accomplish what He plans. In Luke 14:15-24, Jesus tell the parable of a great feast. When the time was ready those invited wouldn’t come, they were too busy. In the same way God invites us to be with Him and to work with Him. Often His plan or timing don’t seem right to us. We make excuses. He desires good things for us, and just wants to be with us. Still we refuse Him. In the story the man invites others to his feast: the lame, the blind, and the poor. God’s work will be done, He can use anyone! He wants you, He wants me. Will I go to His feast or only accept Him on my terms and time schedule? The young men and women I am talking with here are ready for the feast and actively inviting others. Such a godly example for us. God is their pure passion. Their only hope and true guide in life. Dear PPC, is it enough for us to worship on Sunday only and pursue our plans the rest of the week? We need their zeal, where God is everything and each day is centered on how to bring Him glory and share Him with others.

Thank you for your support and prayers, you are here with us ministering to our brother and sisters. See you soon,

Susanna
