CCC-Here's Life Inner City, Orlando, Florida

Chris and Karen Akers have been on the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ since 1978. They became acquainted with CCC when they were in college at Miami University where Chris first gave his life to the Lord and Karen learned about the ministry of the Holy Spirit and having a walk with the Lord.  From 1978 to 2000, they worked in various offices at the Headquarters of
CCC. In 2000, God called them to start an Orlando version of CCC's compassionate, inner city ministry, Here's Life Inner City. This ministry strives to serve and mobilize the church to live out God's heart for the poor, so that all can grow in Christ and spiritually multiply. We do this by connecting, empowering, and developing both inner city and suburban ministries.
