Service Opportunities
As members of Christ’s Body, the Church, we all are equipped and called to serve in some way. (See Ephesians 4 and 1 Corinthians 12.) We believe that when an individual becomes a believer in Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit indwells that person and gives a spiritual gift. The purpose of the spiritual gift is to first of all bring glory and honor to God (1 Peter 4:11). Secondly the spiritual gift is to edify or build up the Church (Ephesians 4:11-12). It is our sincere prayer that each person who is a part of Patterson Park Church would first come to KNOW God in a real and personal way; to then GROW in faith and become more like Christ; and then to GO in service to others. We encourage everyone at PPC to serve in a way that is consistent with where they are in their spiritual development.
Are you serving now? If so, you may want to do the following things to determine if you are serving in a way that fits well with how God has equipped you. If you are not serving now, we encourage you to do the things listed below.
Pray. Ask God to show you how He wants to use you in serving Him and His Church.

If one or more of these seem to fit with your Spiritual Gift or your feeling of how God wants to use you at this point in your life, we would love to talk to you.
