Small Groups
Family. Work. Sports teams. You are a part of a variety of groups. But, do you have a Small Group? Do you have a Small Group of people who know you? Do you have a Small Group you can count on and that can count on you?
Small Groups are groups of 8 - 15 people meeting in homes weekly for prayer, Bible study and encouragement.
It's not just another meeting. It's not just another group. It's an opportunity to connect in meaningful community with others. It's a place for you to experience real life change. It's a chance to live out your faith, wherever you are, with friends.
How can I get into a Small Group? Pick up a Small Group Registration Form at the Information Desk, fill it out and turn it in...then a leader will follow up with you.
Groups at Patterson Park Church:
Where do Small Groups fit in the purpose and missions of PPC? Small Groups reach every area of the vision for PPC. They help us share our lives. They help grow our family, impact our community and reach our world.
Purpose and Vision:
Purpose: What we do...Small Groups exist to create an environment for people to experience the "life purpose" of transformation through spiritual community with others.
Transformation occurs as people become more like Christ and do the work of Christ in community with others.
Vision: Who we are...a network of small Biblical communities that expand the reach and deppen the impact of God's kingdom work through PPC.
Our Small Groups focus on...
1. Becoming more like Christ. God shapes us through our relationships. Together, we are being shaped into the image of Christ to reflect His image.
2. Caring for Others. Becoming more like Christ will help us love and serve those around us. It'sa Christ-like connection that creates a caring environment.
