| PPC Worship Ministries
Worship permeates every age and ministry of Patterson Park Church , including senior citizens, adults, students, and children. We invite you to consider joining the extensive family of musicians and support teams as we honor our Lord through the wonderful ministry of music and worship. You will find this a ministry of excitement and personal encouragement.
The choir ministers most Sunday mornings in all A.M. services. In addition, seasonal pageants, musicals and concerts are programmed throughout the year. We invite new members at anytime throughout the year (based on need).
> Rehearsals - Wednesdays, 6:30-8:00 p.m.
> Some Saturday rehearsals for special presentations.
The orchestra provides music for most Sunday morning services and seasonal events. Our orchestra is a major distinctive of the PPC Music Ministry. We invite accomplished instrumentalists at anytime throughout the year (based on need).
> Rehearsals - Wednesdays, 7:30-8:30 p.m.
Our Worship Team is a contemporary vocal and instrumental ensemble. They lead worship on Sunday morning once every four weeks.
> Rehearsals - most Wednesdays, 8:30-9:30 p.m.
This ensemble provides opportunity for those instrumentalists who play Jazz Band instruments. The Jubal-A-tion Band performs once a month in our services as well as in community settings.
> Rehearsals - twice a month Sundays, 4:30-5:30 p.m.
This mixed adult vocal ensemble frequently sings in our services and at special events. Comprised of those in and near their forties, the Patterson Park Singers have a long rich history in performing a variety of sacred vocal styles.
> Rehearsals - 2nd Wednesday every month at 8:00 p.m. and as needed
Sing Praise
Much like the Patterson Park Singers but ten years younger, Sing Praise is an adult vocal ensemble of mixed voices. They serve many performance needs of the church and community.
> Rehearsal - Wednesday evenings as needed.
Technical Support
Our Technical Support Ministry (TSM) provides sound, lighting, and video projection for all morning and evening worship services as well as pageants and special presentations. Due to the demands of the technical support required for all worship services, there is always a need for additional personnel.
> Training is provided and required
Our Dramatic Support Ministry (DSM) provides a creative ministry dedicated to presenting the Word of God and its principles through drama. Its resources are available to all ministries.
> Rehearsals are coordinated by specific events
Our Artistic Support Ministry (ASM) serves the beautification needs of our worship center. Whether it is a wedding, a concert, a special holiday or a normal service, this team is dedicated to the inviting visual appearance of our facility.
