The youth ministry encompasses middle school (grades 7-8) and high school (grades 9-12).

Sunday School
We meet every Sunday morning during the 10:30 a.m. service.  Sr. High meets in Room 220 and the Jr. High in Room 217.

Wednesday Night Youth

Starting Wednesday, September 5,  from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. we will meet in the Youth Room (Room 220) for a time of hanging out with friends, large group worship and small group Bible studies that are divided by Jr. High and St. High.  There will also be 30 minutes set aside for everyone to go completely crazy in what we call "the madness"

Junior High, June 15-20, 2008 to Cincinnati, OH
Cost: $229 (Includes travel, room and board)
Our Mission:  Assist elderly, serve at a food bank, grounds keeping of social service agency, work with children at day camp, meal preparation, cleanup and maintainance of lodging facility, and conduct Backyard Bible Club.
Requirements: Participation in service projects & fund raising, completed application and non-refundable $50 deposit by Jan. 30, 2008
Additional Information:  a typical day will include serving others, "God-sightings", daily devotions, and inspirational/interactive worship programs led by Pastor David Faile and 4 Week of Hope staff including 2 highly trained, college-age leaders

Senior High, June 27-July 7, 2008 to Tagucigalpa, Honduras
Cost:  $1650 (includes airfare, room and board at Word of Life Youth Camp)
Our Mission:  School evangelism ministry through music, drama and puppets, open air evangelism, work projects, and work with Word of Life missionaries
Requirements:  Participation in service projects and fund raising, participation in 3-4 training sessions prior to the trip led by Word of Life, current tetanus shot, passport, completed application and non-refundable $25 deposit by Nov. 20, 2007
Additional Information:  Word of Life provides insurance in case of injury or illness, Word of Life provides a safe and secure area for room and board, a Word of Life host will travel with the team
Training:  Don't miss the following training sessions on Feb. 24 and Mar. 30 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in Room 217

Trevor, Jennifer and Patrick Holder

Trevor Holder will be working with our Youth beginning this month as the Student Ministry Assistant.  Trevor and Jennifer are currently on staff with the Navigators here in the Dayton area.
