Dan and his wife, Sally, have been members at Patterson Park since 2005. They have three children: Annie, Joey and Abbie. Dan is a graduate of Wright State University School of Medicine and Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. He is the co-author of Elder Governance: Insights into Making the Transition. Dan also serves on the medical advisory board for The Miami Valley Women's Center. Outside of church Dan enjoys reading and spending time with his family.
Bill and his wife, Paulette have been at Patterson Park Church since 2001 and have served in several positions within the Awana ministry and greater children's ministry within the PPC family. They have two daughters, who are in are Student Ministries. Bill received his BA in Guidance and Counseling from Bob Jones University in 1995 and completed Masters in Business Administration from the University of Dayton in December of 2010. When he has any free time, Bill enjoys time with his family and golfing, though his golf game is in need of significant help.
John and his wife Cassandra have been at Patterson Park since 2002. They have one daughter who is married and has two sons. John retired in 2014 from his position as Administrator of the Regional Air Pollution Control Agency (RAPCA) of Dayton, Ohio. He holds a Master’s of Science from Iowa State University and a Bachelor’s of Science from Michigan State University. He serves at PPC as an elder, Bible Study teacher, and greeter.
Walt and his wife Idora have served at Patterson Park since 1986, except for a brief stint with the Air Force in Washington, DC. They have seven children. Walt is a graduate of North Carolina State University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering. He spent 25 years in the Air Force as a Research Navigator, Program Manager, and Systems Engineer, and is currently employed as an Air Force civilian engineer. Outside of his Elder responsibilities, Walt is a single-engine instrumented pilot, and serves on the board at the Miami Valley Women’s Center, Word of Life Fellowship Inc., and Kettering Children’s Choir.
Art came to Christ through the ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ in 1965 and has over 45 years’ ministry experience. A graduate of Dallas Seminary, Art served with SIM in Nigeria from 1975-79 where he was on the faculty of Igbaja Theological Seminary and founded a seminary extension in Lagos. Art and his wife, Barb, came to Dayton in 1991 to work at Wright Patterson AFB and joined Patterson Park Church. At PPC, he has taught adult Sunday school, served on the Missions Committee and as Church Council Secretary. Art also served on the US Council for Arab World Ministries
