As we journey through the ever-timely letter of 2 Corinthians with Kelly, we’ll be challenged to consider afresh that we’ve been empowered to live beautifully and blatantly set apart. Because of Jesus’s death and resurrection, the old has gone, the new has come.
Hoping for Something Better: Refusing to Settle for Life as Usual
By: Nancy Guthrie
Many people live with a simmering sense of disappointment with life, with their own walk of faith, and with God. Doubts about whether or not Jesus is the only way to know God in a culture where His distinctives have become fuzzy and where radical discipleship is becoming costly only add to our discontent. In this season, it is easy to become so consumed with the doing that we forget to reflect and think about who we are becoming as we raise our children…The goal of this study is not necessarily to figure out specific parenting techniques or strategies but to walk with the Lord in the busy season of motherhood and let His presence infuse and shape our lives…The hope is to have God impact our own lives in such a way that His imprint on our hearts makes a lasting impression on our children.
We prayerfully anticipate growing together as we learn how to nourish our “hearts, minds, and souls with the wisdom we need” in the day to day challenges of the season we are experiencing!
