Meal Packing Event
Why? Helping families and children in distress endure crisis by delivering high protein meals.
When? Saturday, April 20th from 9am - 12:45 pm
Where? In the FLC at Patterson Park Church
Who? Children as young as 8 can assist under parental supervision. 300 volunteers are needed!
What? Work in assembly line teams of 11 around a table to fill bags with protein-rich, fortified, multi-serving, vegetarian meals. Other volunteers will seal, pack, stack, and move the filled boxes to the semitruck. Our goal is to provide 200,000 meals.
How: Sign up to work with your family, small group, coworkers and neighbors, or join a table of other PPC folk AND donate toward the $50,000 needed to purchase the ingredients for the meals.
