The Growing Years Contest

Create a diorama of our first building on 3655 E. Patterson Road in Beavercreek.

RULES

Drop-Off Deadline:
📅 Wednesday, July 2, 2025
📍 Drop off your covered diorama at the church during office hours or on Sunday mornings to the Central Park Welcome Center desk.
📩 Attach your sealed entry blank in an envelope to the diorama
Size Limit:
📏 Maximum size: 16” high x 16” wide x 16” deep
Materials:
Use any materials you like—get creative!
Categories:
  1. 🧒 Child (Under 12 years old) – No adult help permitted
  2. 🎨 Youth & Adult (Ages 12 and up) – Individual or group work allowed
Winners:
🏆 First, second and third place winners will be selected from each category.
🎉 The first-place winning dioramas will be on display for the remainder of 2025 in celebration of our 75th  anniversary.  All winners will receive prizes and much recognition!

JUDGING CRITERIA
 (20 points each / 100 total)

Historical Accuracy: Does the diorama resemble the original first church building on E. Patterson?
Creativity & Originality: Is the design creative or unique in materials or presentation?
Craftsmanship: Is the diorama carefully constructed with attention to detail?
Overall Presentation: Is the display neat, complete, and visually appealing?
Effort & Heart: Does it show genuine time, care, and personal expression?
