Sidewalk chalk art - Grab some sidewalk chalk at the outreach table in the overflow and write some positive and encouraging notes and verses on sidewalks in your neighborhood or on public paths, playgrounds, etc. Cards with verses will also be available at the outreach table.

- Try spending 15-30 minutes of intentional time outside so you can get to know people.

The Gospel Mission
The Gospel Mission is an inner city ministry including daily chapel, daily meals, children’s programs and much more.
How You Can Get Involved:
Serve
Help serve a meal and clean up afterwards!
The first Thursday of every month from 5:30-7:30pm
Make it a community group, family, or Bible study group event.

- For the safety and wisdom of Pastor Ken Clarkston and the volunteers.

You can help community members in need through prayer and service by becoming a CarePortal responder.
CarePortal connects people who can help (like Patterson Park Church) with people who need help.
Here's How It Works:
Step 1: A child or family in need requires help from a child-serving professional.
Step 2: The child-serving professional vets and then enters needs into CarePortal.
Step 3: CarePortal alerts nearby churches and community members to the needs.
Step 4: Churches and community members partner to ensure that the child and family is helped.
When activated, each responder will receive an email notification for the request giving them the options to Pray, Follow, or Respond to the request.

OUTREACH EVENTS
Good Neighbor Weekend
Every year PPC hosts a 5K in August with several hundred people in attendance. The race is an opportunity to share the Gospel message with the racers and their families.
Community Fall Festival
Our Community Fall Festival at PPC welcomes many families in our community! This annual festival includes “Trunk or Treating”, dinner, and a Gospel message presentation.
OCC Box Collection & Packing Party
For over 20 years, PPC has been a regional collection center for Operation Christmas Child and has hosted a packing party as well. Hundreds of Operation Christmas Child boxes are packed by PPC members each year!
Hands Against Hunger
Hands Against Hunger is a meal packing event hosted at Patterson Park Church, created by A Child's Hope International. PPC hosts this event to provide thousands of meals for impoverished families around the globe.

Bridges of Hope is a Xenia-based shelter providing hope by breaking the cycles of poverty, homelessness, and addiction. We envision a place where ministries, community agencies, non-profits and churches can come together to serve those in need. Child Evangelism Fellowship
CEF is a Bible-centered organization in Dayton composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living.
Pray: according to Matthew 9:38 that God would send us many more workers who are able to go serve. Please pray for the financial need and for the health and strength of the workers God has already called to this ministry.

Hope Rising
Hope Rising is a place where women facing unplanned pregnancies can get support, services, and resources at no cost.
Pray: for an end to abortion, for churches to spread ministry awareness and churches to give us opportunities to share our message.

International Friendships
International Friendships is a community organization that works in partnership with universities and Christian volunteers to promote friendship and hospitality for international students, scholars and family members.
Pray: that the Lord will raise up more staff for IFI Dayton; that He will bless the Bible studies and open the hearts and minds of students to His word, and that the Lord will continue to bring the right students to the Trueman House.

One Bistro
One Bistro is a Xenia-based "Biznistry" where neighbors eat and come together as a community- those who have the ability to pay and those who under normal circumstances would not be able to eat out.
Pray: for the board of directors to seek God for His wisdom and Direction. Pray for the many individuals who visit weekly who are hurting, sad, and depressed - that they would look to the Lord for hope and give their lives to Him.
